Vintage Garage Chicago

It's finally spring and here we are enjoying warmth, abundant sunshine, people out enjoying life, baseball, outdoor dining, the smell of grilling, drinks on the patio with friends, open windows, blowing curtains, long walks, blooming flowers and budding trees. It's also the start of a new year for Vintage Garage Chicago: Chicago's only all-vintage monthly market held every 3rd Sunday from April to October! I have so much fun photographing this event and watching people light up with their treasures. Here are a few of my favorite finds at yesterday's market. If you find yourself in Uptown on the 3rd Sunday of the month, you must check them out!

My Baby Sister's Baby Shower

My sister Hilary is having a little girl in June and we got together to celebrate this past weekend. I can't wait to meet baby Skyler - and I really can't wait to take her photos :)

Thinking Spring

COPYRIGHTCMP-2742 I officially moved to Chicago this past week & this photo is on display as a large canvas in my new apartment. It's got me thinking spring, especially after yesterday's on-and-off snow showers-sunshine-wind-more snow-rain-sunshine-even more snow-sunshine, followed strong gusts of wind! I don't think Mother Nature could make up her mind but I get it, I have days like that also. But right now, I'm wanting some warmth and beer-on-the-patio days! Join me in wishing for spring.
