Cape Cod Family Beach Photo Session - Destination Family Photographer

Last summer I flew out to Cape Cod to photograph family photos for a sweet boy’s first birthday. I grew up with Kris in our tiny Wisconsin town and we reconnected via Facebook after college and major life changes & moves. Kris now lives in Switzerland with her husband Mike and their one year old little boy! Her husband is from Boston and his parents live half the year in their Cape Cod home. Kris flew me out to document her little guy turning one while they were visiting in Cape Cod last August. Her parents also came to visit, and we did an extended family session at Quisset Harbor at sunset time. It helped me realize that I need more sunset beach sessions in my life and that I need to go back to explore more of Cape Cod!

I make sure to get photos of them by themselves too! Often, they have not been photographed together in ages.

Outdoor Summer Photo Session on the Farm - Madison, WI

Wow, I haven’t blogged in forever! The end of summer and all of fall got away from me as I was in the midst of the busiest year I’ve ever had. Hooray for that, but sorry to the blog for neglecting you. I was working on a print order today from this session that was in honor of my niece’s third birthday, back when it was warm, sunny and just plain summer. How I miss those days already! These sweet little ladies of mine have already changed so much since June, when these were taken, but I will love these photos forever and be reminded of their sweetness, silliness, spunkiness and these crazy curls that were enhanced by the insane wind on the farm that day!

If you’re wondering where the boys are…. there are none! We are a girls-only family - which makes me think the next session should have a ‘no boys allowed’ handmade sign drawn by one of these cuties ;P I’m guessing by then my luck of getting them all to look at the camera will have run out! They sure gave me a run for my money this time but I love them so. Nothing is better than being “Auntie Coney” in my world. xoxo
